I paint like water—fluid yet certain, shaping
and being shaped. My art moves between the
seen and the felt, where a frangipani’s curve,
the hush of a donkey in Lamu, and the glow of
skin all whisper the same truth.
I explore different mediums in my artistic
process but mostly work with oils and
acrylics. With palette knives, I carve bold
strokes, letting color and contrast speak—
earth and fire, softness and defiance. My
work is both rooted and untamed, in carrying
the rhythm of African storytelling, the weight
of memory, the quiet power of presence.
Each piece is an offering—to feel, to
remember, to see beyond the surface.
